NVQ Level 2 Catering and Hospitality Apprenticeship

 

If you enjoy food, working with people and want to develop good communication skills then a career in Catering and Hospitality may be for you. You will spend one day a week at Springboard working towards your NVQ and other catering related qualifications. Assessment and experience for your practical skills will take place at Springboards training kitchen and bistro, in your workplace or in one of our placements that will help you achieve your qualification.

 

We currently offer the Level 2 Professional Cookery Apprenticeship.

 

 
 

What will you do?

  • Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment

  • Contribute to effective teamwork

  • Maintain food safety when storing, preparing, cooking, holding and serving food

  • Prepare and cook a wide variety of basic and healthy food dishes using either fresh or convenience ingredients

  • Serve food and drinks and provide customer service

  • Give customers a positive impression of yourself and the organisation

Your entitlement:

  • You may be entitled to an EMA + bonuses

  • Travel expenses

  • Ongoing support throughout the qualification

  • One-to-one support where needed

 
 
 

Apprenticeship qualifications:

 

City & Guilds Catering & Hospitality NVQ Level 2, Technical Certificates & Key Skills, as well as other qualifications are available to help you gain a career in Catering.
